I am Dr. Antonio Guerrieri, currently serving as Researcher at the CNR - National Research Council of Italy,
Institute for High Performance Computing and Networking (ICAR)

I received the PhD degree in computer engineering from the University of Calabria, Italy, in 2012. I spent six months as researcher at the Telecom Italia WSN Lab at Berkeley, California, and one year at the Clarity Centre, UCD (University College Dublin), Ireland.
I have been involved in several research projects on WSNs, including BMF, SPINE, MAPS, the REWSN Cluster of CONET FP7, the ENIAC Energy To Smart Grid (E2SG), BodyCloud, TETRis, DOMUS.
I'm co-founder of SenSysCal S.r.l. and Talent Garden Cosenza S.r.l.

I'm author of more than 40 papers in international journals, conferences, and books.

Currently my research is devoted to: for the Internet of Things

  • Programming methodologies and frameworks for Smart Objects and Smart Environment realization;
  • High-level programming methodologies and frameworks for Wireless Sensor and Actuator Networks (WSANs) applied to the Building domain;
  • Design, Realization, Simulation, and Testing of large scale WSAN;
  • Mobile Agents Systems for WSNs;
  • High-level programming methodologies and frameworks for Wireless Body Sensor Networks (WBSNs);
  • Body Sensor Networks - Cloud Computing integration.
